Before and after your laser treatment
1. Prior to your laser hair removal treatment:
-
Wear loose and comfortable clothing for your appointment.

Please come free of deodorant, fake tan, makeup or any creams in the area. Having
any product in the area could cause an adverse reaction. -
For your patch test and consultation, please come with a few days hair growth to
help me assess your hair. -
When beginning your treatment sessions, please come freshly shaved from the
morning of. Any unshaved area may mean your treatment is cancelled and you may
still be charged. -
Please avoid sunbeds or tanning, retinols or AHAs, at least 2 weeks prior your
appointment.

2. Care for after your laser hair removal treatment:
-
Avoid the use of sunbeds, fake tan or sun tanning for at least 2 weeks after your
treatment. This is to minimise darkening of the skin (hyperpigmentation). -
Avoid heat treatments such as steam rooms, saunas, spas and Jacuzzis, for at least 3 days.

Avoid exfoliating the area for at least 4-5 days post treatment.

Avoid shaving the area for at least 3 days.
-
No swimming or exercising for at least 48 hours.
-
Avoid the use of makeup, creams or deodorant in the area for 48 hours.
-
No waxing, tweezing or threading, for the duration of the treatment course.

3. Good practice after your laser hair removal session
-
Drink plenty of water.
-
Always wear SPF 50.
-
Keep the treated area clean and dry for 48 hours.
-
Wear loose comfortable clothing on the treated area to avoid friction for 48 hours.
-
If your skin feels a bit warm after your treatment, you can use a cool ice pack to help reduce irritation or aloe vera gel.
